Meet Dr Weiskopf
Scott A. Weiskopf, DDS
Board Certified Oral Surgeon
Dr. Scott Weiskopf is also a Memphis native. He completed his undergraduate training at Washington University in St. Louis and received his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He then completed a 4 year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he served as chief resident during his final year.
Dr. Weiskopf has advanced training in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and has a special interest in advanced implant placement, bone graft reconstruction, dentoalveolar surgery, corrective jaw surgery, and facial cosmetic procedures. In addition, he has been trained in the latest technology including virtual surgical planning and computer guided surgery. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Weiskopf is married to his wife, Jana, and they have four children, Graham, Nora, Jax, and Nate. Dr. Weiskopf’s personal interests including camping, hiking, and mountain biking.
Dr. Weiskopf is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and belongs to a number of other professional organizations:
- American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society
- American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Tennessee Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Memphis Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (President from 2017-2019)
