It is a process took several months, in which I am impressed with the kindness and good quality of work done by people here, especially by Dr. Sexton. "Clean and quick. I had a bad infection in an old root canal on a cracked tooth. Also, I wanted to get my wisdoms removed. So 5 teeth removed. I got a bone graft to set me up for an implant to replace that infected tooth. Healing’s been smooth. Barely any swelling. Bleeding stopped after a couple hours. They hooked me up with the good stuff but 600mg ibuprofen been enough. Weiskopf’s experience really showed. Love seeing a professional do his thing."

"Needed fourth teeth pulled, three of them being wisdom teeth. Sexton was originally booked for almost two months in advance for a consult, but after being put on a cancelation wait list, I was able to be seen within two weeks of my original booking. After the consult, things professed fairly fast and my appointment was made two weeks later to get the teeth extracted. Sexton's staff and surgeons were very pleasant the entire time and their customer service skills were excellent. I'm a very anxious person and they did a great job with preoperative small talk to calm my nerves. They give you a very detailed handout with what you should and shouldn't do after surgery which I thought was super nice. All in all, I have nothing negative to say about Sexton, it was a wonderful experience. If you are looking for an oral surgeon in the Memphis area, this should be your first and only stop!"

They are aware of some of the painkillers having addictive effects which is comforting and they have options to avoid those drugs. They even have an optional follow up 2 weeks later if you are concerned about something too. I’m glad I went here for my removal"

The procedure was quick and easy, and I received a personal phone call from the doctor to check how I was doing the evening after the surgery. "I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! From the first phone call all the way up to today when I had my wisdom teeth removed has been an absolute dream of an experience! I saw dr. Wisekopf and he was compassionate and caring and explained everything to me on what to expect and what he would be doing! I was very anxious about it but the staff and him were all very reassuring when it came to nerves! After my surgery at 11am it’s almost 5pm and I feel no pain very little swelling and so much relief! Hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had!!!"

The day of my procedure, I was EXTREMELY nervous to where my blood pressure was elevated. He reassured me things were going to be fine, helped me relax & it dropped tremendously! I made it thru the surgery..the staff made sure I got safely to my waiting driver & ride with instructions on after care The staff was attentive caring & calmed my anxiety before the surgery with music to my liking, encouraging words & laughter Dr.Sexton is a THE BEST ORAL SURGERY DENTIST & my 1st hopefully only.. If I ever needed any more work done I'd be pleased to have him.. He takes great pride in his work & the care of his patients.. He called me after work hours himself to see how I was after surgery.. That was so important & made me feel great even tho I was in alot of pain... If you need Oral Surgery consider this facility.. I was'nt happy having to pay out of pocket on a portion of the surgery when I was told there would be no hidden or additional cost..But it does not take away from the staff being nice & friendly.. a clean office or the fact that Dr.Sexton is a great Oral Surgeon that cares about the work he does on his patients"

However due to the anesthesia I received I didn't feel any pain. Dr Sexton spoke to my family member after the procedure. Family said the Dr was great, gave clear instructions , and he has a warm friendly demeanor. That evening Dr Sexton called me and my family member to see how I was doing? "Tolerated an absess? That began through sleep hour Friday night. Started a antibiotic Saturday morning. By Monday morning the access had become worse. My regular dentist looked at it Monday morning 8:a.m. He called & got me worked in as an emergency patient. I was checked in by staff 9:20a.m.. Nurse Jasmine worked me up & stayed with me while the abcess was lanced, drained & rinsed out. Jasmine did well checking every so often to be sure I was okay. Dr. Did well explaining procedure & application."

"I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and though my surgery went well, I had complications in the days following the surgery due to underlying health issues. However, Dr. Weiskopf was so helpful and quick to respond when I needed to get in contact with him. He even met us at his office on a Sunday to help resolve the complication I had and has continued to be kind during the healing process. I cannot recommend him and his staff enough."
